Menu Plan Monday

This is going to be a week of using up Thanksgiving leftovers, as well as a birthday for Gen!  She doesn’t really care for turkey or potatoes, so I have a funny assortment of some of her favorite foods for her birthday meals. (Can you tell she’s turning 2? It’s certainly not glamorous!) :)  


Breakfast: Eggs, Toast & Jam
Lunch: Cheese Sandwiches, Carrot Sticks
Dinner: Baked Potatoes, Vegetarian Chili, Apple Slices
To Do: Thaw Tomato Sauce, Bake GF Bread
Breakfast: Pancakes, Bacon
Lunch: Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Canned Peaches
Dinner: Turkey Vegetable Chowder (from Celebrate the Seasons), Coconut Biscuits
To Do: Make Butter, Thaw Cranberries, Strain Kefir
Breakfast: Eggs, Chai Muffins
Lunch: Turkey/Cream Cheese/Cranberry Sandwiches, Homemade Pickles
Dinner: Curried Carrot Soup (from Simply in Season), Leftover Biscuits, Cheese Slices
To Do: Bake Cranberry Cupcakes, Pick Up Milk, Soak Lentils, Soak Rice
Breakfast: Eggs, Surprise Waffles
Lunch: Cheese Slices, Carrot Sticks, Bread & Butter, Hot Tea/Cider
Birthday Dinner: Honey Baked Lentils (from More With Less), Green Beans, Brown Rice, Cranberry Cupcakes
To Do: Whip Cream
Breakfast: Omelets, Leftover Muffins
Lunch: Split Pea Soup, Bread & Butter
Dinner: Turkey Shepherd’s Pie (topped with leftover mashed yams), Canned Peaches
To Do: Roast Pumpkin, Soak Millet, Soak Chickpeas
Breakfast: Breakfast Rice, Eggs
Lunch: Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Apple Slices
Dinner: Pumpkin Curry, Millet
To Do: Soak Porridge, Make Sourdough Bread
Breakfast: Oat or Buckwheat Porridge, Eggs
Lunch: Cheese Slices, Apple Slices, Popcorn
Dinner: Meal with Friends after Church
To Do: Bake Sourdough Bread
