Living A Simple Life-Part 64: Childlike Faith

Oh, my sweet daughter,
What a joy it is to see the awe of experiencing a miracle reflected back in your eyes. Your childlike faith is so apparent, as you love this baby already. Even without seeing, without understanding, you have embraced this new life. Your curiosity and enthusiasm are so precious.

It brings me joy pangs that I would never have expected, to see you so thrilled to have a sibling. I have such a gratitude to God for blessing you with this relationship. May you two be blessed with a lifetime of incredible moments together, dear ones. I am so excited to be your Mama, and to watch the two of you grow up together!

Thank you for showing me a “glimpse into the kingdom of heaven,” Gen-girl. May God preserve your gracious, hope-filled spirit! The simplicity of a childlike faith is such a treasure.

“At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, ‘Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?’

He called a little child and had him stand among them. And he said: ‘I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.'”
Matthew 18:1-5
