Weekly Menu Plan

We will be waiting until Sunday to have our Thanksgiving dinner, so I’ll be doing some prep work throughout the week (and looking forward to leftovers next week!) :) Calvin was thrilled to find a 5 lb bag of tangerines on sale for 99 cents during a quick trip to the grocery store the other day, so we’ll be munching on those this week!

Monday
Breakfast: Apple Oven Pancake (from Simply in Season), Eggs
Lunch: Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Carrot Sticks
Dinner: Seafood Date Night, Tangerines
To Do: Soak Pancake Batter, Soak Dried Peas

Tuesday
Breakfast: Buttermilk Pancakes, Eggs
Lunch: Quesadillas on Homemade Tortillas (make extra for Friday), Pears
Dinner: Pot Pie (leftover Elk & Veggies), Tangerines
To Do: Soak Porridge, Make Sourdough Bread, Make Cranberry Sauce

Wednesday
Breakfast: Oat or Teff Porridge, Eggs
Lunch: Roast Elk (leftover) Sandwiches, Pears
Dinner: Millet & Cheese Casserole (I’ll be sharing this recipe tomorrow!), Carrot Sticks
To Do: Bake GF Bread, Make Butter (& Whipped Cream for Pies), Thaw Salmon

Thursday
Breakfast: Eggs, Toast
Lunch: Cheese Sandwiches, Tangerines
Dinner: Veggie Quiche, Bread, Baked Apples
To Do: Thaw Pineapple, Thaw Gravy, Soak Pinto Beans, Thaw Tomatoes, Soak Rice, Thaw Bread

Friday
Breakfast: Apple Omelets, Toast
Lunch: Layered Bean Dip, Tortillas, Pears
Dinner: Lemon-Pepper Salmon, Brown Rice, Green Beans
To Do: Soak Porridge, Make Mayonnaise, Bake Sweet Potato Biscuits

Saturday
Breakfast: Oat or Teff Porridge, Eggs
Lunch: Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Carrot Sticks
Dinner: Cream Cheese & Herb Omelets, Bread, Tangerines
To Do: Bake Pies, Prepare Stuffing, Bake Muffins

Sunday “Thanksgiving”
Breakfast: Pumpkin Muffins, Eggs
“Thanksgiving Dinner”: Roast Turkey, Herbed Pear Stuffing, Whipped Cream Cheese Potato Bake, Gravy, Baked Yams & Apples, Sweet Potato Biscuits, Green Beans, Homemade Pickles, Olives, Cranberry-Orange Sauce, Pumpkin Pie, Whipped Cream, Creamy Pear Pie, Vanilla Ice Cream, Cider
