Our family loves music.
With hymn-singing during our family worship time before bed, lullabies at night, and joyous humming and praising throughout the day, it is never quiet.
Over and over again, my children call me back to simply worshipping. As they giggle and shout for joy, I can simply worship my Father as a child.
“Make a joyful noise unto the LORD…” (Psalm 100:1)
Calvin sings & plays guitar with our church family’s worship team, while his mom plays the piano. Our little ones love crawling up amid the music stands and microphone cords on Sunday morning, as we begin preparing for Sunday morning worship. (Gen’s dream is to be on the worship team “with her friends” someday!)
So, “God’s Word from A to Z” CD from philipmusic has been a perfect fit for our family! The songs are a fun variety of music styles, from bluegrass, country, Celtic, pop, and rock styles.
These gifted songwriters have put scripture to music. Each song is a Bible verse that starts with a letter of the alphabet; perfect for memorization!

I’ve always wanted to hear Psalm 131 as a song.
Actually, I adored hearing the voices of the children reciting the Scripture. I went through and listened to every one! The songs sound great too! Thanks for the info. abut these folks, as I have never heard of them before. If I don’t win I will have to buy this cd for my grandbaby due in September. When my boys were little, our favorites to listen to were Donut Man, Psalty, G.T. & The Halo Express and Judy Rodgers (why Can’t I See God & Go to the Ant). Psalty’s Camping Adventure did one song with the entire alphabet & Scripture. I can still sing it!
