Savoring Fall

We’ve been savoring the start of fall here lately, and I thought I’d share a glimpse with you of some of the delights I’ve been savoring lately:

  • Children in footed pajamas, snuggled up in a homemade quilt for story & worship time.
  • Sauteed Onions & Apples (with a fresh sweet onion from Calvin’s aunt, and a homegrown apple from his mom)

  • Colorful fall leaves crunching under our feet (and little ones discovering them in the lawn)
  • Cups of hot Cinnamon Tea
  • A vase of bright yellow sunflowers, as a gift from a neighbor
  • Baked sweet potatoes and squash, stuffed with beans & cheese, for filling & easy meals
  • Looking forward to The Relevant Conference for some sweet time with dear friends, and learning from wise women (and sharing the travel experience with my little ones!)
  • Preparing for a new endeavor with our family… I’ll have to keep you in suspense for a couple more weeks, but I think you’ll love it! :)
