Each year, as the glorious, abundant autumn draws to a close with a celebration of Thanksgiving, our family starts the journey toward Christmas. With the first Sunday of Advent, the season of anticipation begins…

But what happens after December 25th? Even if we leave the decorations up, the carols playing, and the treats in the cookie jar, Christmas is done, right?

But, no. Christmas has just begun!

Celebrating the Twelve Days of Christmas, leading up to Epiphany (January 6th) is not a weird, religious obsession. It is a way to fully savor the joyous birth of Christ, and His many gifts!

This 33-page book is… A light-hearted look at the season, based on the
popular historic song, “The Twelve Days of Christmas,” as we continue teaching and
experiencing a faith-filled life as a family.

Each day contains a selection of activities, readings, and more to enrich your days, as you begin the new year, based on Deuteronomy 6:5, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” (You don’t have to do them all! Choose a favorite.)

The days following Christmas are typically “school break” vacations for children (whether you are schooling at home or away), so these suggestions are intended to keep your days relaxed, and give a reprieve from “cabin fever” boredom on winter days, as we remember God is Love, who has given us many blessings in everyday life!

Savor the joy of Christmas.

Day One: Make a natural, homemade bird feeder (among other activity options)!

Day Five: Hand Shadow Fun & a Delicious, Simple Meal!

With over 30 activities, recipes, and tutorials, your family will be well-equipped for enjoying intentional moments together. This book will be a treasured resource year-round, with its selection of wholesome, natural ideas.

Containing the long-awaited Orange Flower Hand Lotion recipe, new Gluten-Free recipe options, Recycled Candles, Homemade Books, Outdoor Nature Activities, Handmade Crafts, and more, “A Natural Noel” is a staple for savoring every day; not just Christmas!

The activities incorporate Bible study, art, music, outdoor play, social/community awareness, and family relationships. Each day has a “Soul Nurturing” reading from the Bible, an explanation of the day’s meaning from the song “The Twelve Days of Christmas,” as well as a selection of 2-3 activities.
