Natural Remedies Giveaway from NaturoKits!

So, you’re packing for a road trip, an outing to the park, a nature hike…

You’ve rounded up the missing socks, mittens, and shoes, the snacks, diapers, baby carriers, your list/schedule, and keys.

But did you remember the first aid kit?

I love my NaturoKits first aid kit, full of basic natural remedies! It’s so easy to “grab & go;” I’ve tossed it in the diaper bag, suitcase or car on our many outings and travels this past year.

Whether I’m treating a sunburn, rashes, scrapes & bruises, bee stings, dog bite, tummy ache, treating pimples, or even making mascara (yes, really!), my handy NaturoKits bag has been the first place I turn. (Please tell me my family is normal; I don’t think we’re accident-prone! But that stuff really happened.)

Homemade Mascara!

Even if you aren’t quite familiar with natural remedies yet, they’ve got you covered. The enclosed easy-to-read, helpful guide allows you to quickly identify the correct remedy, the use for each product, and how to simply apply it. (I love this!)

I’m excited about their newest option- The MiniKit. It’s a great way to start investing in some natural remedies, and try it out, before adding the rest of the items with the “upgrade” (all items are included in the Basic First Aid Kit).

I’m not just saying this because they paid me. :) I’ve been regularly using NaturoKits remedies for almost a year now, and really do love them.Ā  It’s been a real savings on doctor bills and a blessing to care for my friends’ & family’s wellness needs. Plus, they’re a local-to-me, mama-owned company, based out of Portland, Oregon.

Now, two readers have a chance to win their own kits,
helping equip you to start off your new year wellness goals fully prepared!

NaturoKits is generously giving away one Basic First Aid Naturo Kit (value $68) to one reader and one First Aid MiniKit (value $19.95) to another reader! In addition, BOTH winners will receive a copy of my eBook, “Herbal Nurturing.”

To enter the giveaway, visit NaturoKits’ site, and leave a comment on this blog post, letting us know which remedies you would be most interested in trying/having on hand.

This giveaway will run through Tuesday, January 18th.

This giveaway is now closed. Thank you for all your entries!

This summer we will have a very active toddler and a newly walking baby so I’m sure we’ll have lots of scrapes and bruises to deal with. I’d LOVE to have the opportunity to try out these natural remedies on my children!

  • The activated charcoal seems very cool! I’ve used it on animals, but never considered it for humans!

  • I would love to try the Wild Weed salve for itchy skin, rashes, or cuts and scrapes. We have plenty of those around here! Thanks for hosting this giveaway! :)

  • Karma

I had recently heard of Arnica, which looks like it would be great to have on hand. Of course, the whole kit looks great! I’ve been eyeing these…

  • Kori Kauffman

Wow! Thanks! This is just what I’ve been looking for!! When reading through their site I saw their suggestion of giving a first aid kit at a baby shower. Ding! A lightbulb went off! What a perfect gift for several upcoming baby shower/baby gifts. Count me in :)

  • My boys are always getting scrapes and cuts so I’d love to try the calendula. Crisis calm sounds good for me. I need something to calm me down occasionally with having 2 boys who are only 12 1/2 months apart and a new baby! :)

  • I’d like to try the wild weed salve – especially for diaper rashes.

  • I’ve been wanting to try activated charcoal for awhile…it amazes me the things I’ve heard it can do!

  • Tracey

I was *just* going to say that I’d appreciate the Crisis Calm for myself! The Calendula Succus would come in very handy, too, having 5 young children!

  • I would love to have the Arnica on hand, my husband and boys are constantly injuring themselves when we are out and about. And the wild weed salve sounds fantastic for just about everything. And the basic kit sounds like a GREAT gift to buy my brother who is in college and doing who knows what on the weekends traipsing around in the woods. He’s quite the outdoors man.

  • Nicole S

My daughter plays roller derby & is forever getting bruises, cuts & scrapes which lead to muscle pain and inflammation. I don’t like giving her the “normal” OTC remedies as frequently as she needs. I’ve looked at the natural options in the store but it seems so overwhelming. I think a NaturoKit would be awesome to try because it takes the guesswork out of making the switch to natural remedies. It would be such a blessing to receive the Basic kit. Thanks for an awesome blog!

  • With all our winter dry skin, Iā€™d like the Wild Weed Salve right now. The Ledum 30C would be good for emergencies.

Activated Charcoal is one I have been thinking of trying. I heard you can put a little in a drink and it will bring out toxins in your body. I have so much to learn when it comes to “natural”, but so little time!

  • Kaila

I’ve wanted to try arnica for some time now. This Kit looks fantastic!

  • Nina

I’d love to try the crisis calm. I’ve used homeopathic medicine for years and should put a kit together instead of having it all over the place. Teething tablets were great

  • I’ve been wanting to try more homeopathic remedies. There are several in the kit I hadn’t heard of. The hypericum looks absolutely vital to have on hand for more major injuries, but they all look wonderful. With six kiddos, a kit like this would sure come in handy! Thanks for offering the giveaway! I have three boys so burns, cuts, scrapes are a regular thing around here : ) Also, with three boys mommy needs a calming remedy! Thanks for the great giveaway and for letting me know about this company!

  • Natalie

Oh I’d love to try the Wild Weed Salve! We live in the foothills of Colorado and are always having outdoor “adventures”. Which means we almost always have scrapes and bites(in the summer) and chapped skin (in the winter). Thanks for the chance to win this lovely kit!

  • Melissa W.

I’d love to have the Crisis Calm on hand.

  • Kim B.

I have been DYING to get my hands on one of those kits! Sometimes, I just go to their website and dream about which things I will love when I get one. I am most excited about the Calendula succus….it just seems so practical and necessary!

  • Lynne

I just signed up for the NaturoKits email. I would love the Arnica 30C for my son during football season.

  • Brandi

  • Angie P

I really would love to have something like this on hand! I think the Calendula Succus would be most useful here!

  • I could really use the remedy for adult acne

  • Tracy

Hi Michelle, funny you post this just now. I was just considering yesterday what I was going to replace all those typical otc medications in our medicine cupboard with. I’ve heard great things about Arnica and as the mom of two extremely active but special needs 3 year olds, not to mention a 8 and 18 year old, all this stuff would be put to good use. I also wonder if the calming one would help my little boy with his stress issues.

  • Chelsea Wipf

I would love to try the Wild Weed Salve! Sounds like a fantastic product!

  • Melissa

I would love one of these kits to treat my family. I’ve been learning about homeopathic remedies and I believe they’ve helped us through the various illnesses this year, but I’m interested in learning more about the herbal remedies to complement the homeopathic medicines.

  • Abby H.

The homeopathic remedy for burns looks really good!

  • Veronica

I would love a kit like this! I would really like to try the arnica and the wild weed salve.

  • It all sounds wonderful but I think the arnica is what interests me the most!

  • I am a beekeeper, so the Apis 30C would be useful for me.

  • Even though we have a 5 year old son, we don’t experience too many “owies”, thank God! However, when it happens we want a natural solution to the problem. I made the Scrape Soother ointment in your Herbal Nurturing book and gave one to my SIL who just had a baby and kept the other for those times when some TLC is really all that’s needed, and this makes it feel good too.
I’ve used arnica for my aging dogs in the past, but never for me. Would be interesting to try!

  • Julie

With 4 boys, I need the Calendula Succus-Herbal remedy for promoting the healing of disrupted skin such as burns, cuts, scrapes.

  • Rachel

I often use arnica (ointment and homeopathic) for bumps and bruises, plantain out of the yard on bites and stings, a plantain-based salve for everything, lol, but haven’t really thought about making up an actual kit that I could just grab to bring along on outings. I’d love to try the ledum on stings and bites in addition to the plantain.

  • Taleen

So excited to hear about these kits! I am constantly researching new herbal/natural remedies and I am a firm believer in learning about how God has provided herbs and natural resources to meet our needs here. I would love to try the Arnica-ever since my husband’s car accident, his neck and shoulder muscles get locked up and I think it would help when I massage his neck. I’m also interested in help for urinary discomfort.

  • Emily Sunwell

What a fabulous giveaway! Their first aid kit looks wonderful! I love that it comes with Arnica, Apis and Ledum – so important for a first aid kit, but everything in it is great.

  • Carol

The activated charcoal interests me! Thanks for the chance to win!

  • Chelsey

I would love to try the Calendula Succus. We have 2 wood burning stoves, and with this cold weather we have been running them around the clock. Concenquently, I have 4 burns on one hand from the stove door! Ouch! I am looking for anything to help relieve the pain. Thanks!

  • Kat

I would love to win the First aid kit! I try to mainly use homeopathic and natropathic remedies. The Crisis calm looks like an excellent remedy to have. I would be interested in trying it.

  • Jessica

I would love to learn about remedies for stress and anxiety as my husband has been dealing with these a lot lately.

  • Brittany

I would love either kit! I have three very active boys 4 and under, so it would get much use at our house (especially the Calendula or Wild Weed Salve)! I have no clue about natural remedies and would love to learn more.

  • Cindy

I would be very interested in the calendula or wild weed salve. I have heard so many good things about calendula. I’ve used it some (used to make baby wipes) but I want to learn more.
    Thanks for offering this!

  • Lynette

My husband and I have just recently started using more natural remedies for everyday issues in our home that come up with having children.
I love the idea of the first aid kit and especially love would love to try out the Natural Salve for diaper rashes and skin irritations that come up with a toddler and a baby in the house.

  • Lorinda

What a great offer to experience these herbal remedies! And an e-book to boot! I’d like to entered into the drawing. I’m most interested in Calendula Succus. The vet once gave our dog activated charcoal when she ate something she wasn’t supposed too.

  • The wild weed salve seems great but I love that this one kit has a couple of different things that treat soooooo many different things.

  • Kelly Harris

I would love to try the Hypericum 30C. I have sciatica and would love some relief that didn’t include narcotics.

  • Melissa

I was actually just looking at what I would need to include in a naturopathic first aid kit that I wanted to put together for the family. Didn’t know ready-made ones were an option. AWESOME! I’m actually most anxious for the Wild Weed Balm and the Activated Charcoal.

  • Teresa Novak

  • Judith

I am very interested in the Arnica 30C. My children play several sports, including soccer. Arnica seems just the thing to help with sore muscles and the bruises that occur from playing soccer.

  • KathieW

Calendula Succus – hope it doesn’t sting.

  • Kristen Beecham

I would like to try the charcoal–sounds like there is tons that that little capsule can help with!

  • Megan

I would be very interested to see how effective the activated charcoal works. Those are always unpleasant symptoms when out and about, and a little suppression would come in handy!

  • Anna

I would be most interested in the Wild Weed cream. I have the most awful cracked, dry skin in the winter. This seems to be something that I could use right now.

  • I tried to click on the link to the post you specified for the giveaway and it came back as a not found. Is this the post to comment on? I would love, love to win your book and of course, the kit. I’ve been reading about calendula succus and would like to try it for various cuts and scrapes we seem to get into.

    Michele Reply:

Yes, this is the correct post. :) Sorry about that! There was a glitch in the the link in the email feeds. Thanks for entering the giveaway!

  • Jenny

It’s hard to pick just one remedy! With four kids 6 and under we have all kinds of “stuff” that happens. And yes, judging by our family (which may not be a good idea…) your family is absolutely normal :) I’ve been wanting to experiment more with natural care, and your book and this kit could really jump-start it!

  • Staci

I like the activated charcoal (mostly because I’ve been wanting to make my own mascara!) and the Wild Weed Salve. Thanks for the opportunity!

  • Jesica

  • I’d like to try the Wild Weed Salve. We have a lot of dry, itchy skin around here this time of year.

  • The whole kit is perfect, but i think the arnica and the wild weed salve would receive the most use, and not just for the toddlers in our family!

  • Joanne

The Arnica 30C is something that I think would be beneficial for my family.

  • Would love to try the Wild Weed Salve out on my husband’s skin allergies. I would love to dump the prescription stuff he takes for something natural.

  • i have always wanted to try activated charcoal when the tummy bugs go through my family!

  • I have looked at the first aid kit more times then I can even count. I almost bought one when you have a discount up, but other things came up and I could not. As accident prone as we are at our home, I have to say the kit would be best suited for us, I could not imagine just one item.

  • Susanne Lucas

I love the give away contest you offer. I watch my 18 mo old Grandson for my daughter and we would love to win the kit

  • Lori

The kits sound wonderful. I would love to have the Wild Weed salve. Someone has a minor cut or scrape. Thanks for the contest.

  • Talia Miller

I am already a frequent user of arnica and calendula, but would be very interested in trying the Ledum 30C
    and the Crisis Calm. Thanks!

  • Expecting our little one in May and our 4 y.o. DD still getting a sore bottom sometimes, I would love to try the Wild Weed Salve. These first aid kits look really nice! Do you know if it is safe to use the Arnica 30C for postpartum muscle soreness if breastfeeding?

    Michele Reply:

My midwives gave me plenty of arnica postpartum! :) It really helped me. Here’s my post on it:
    Michele :)

  • haha When I saw the comment about making mascara, I knew the kit must have charcoal in it! (IMO, activated charcoal is the single item that everyone should add first to their natural first aid kits. There are soooo many things that can be done with that one item!) I would be interested in trying the calendula tincture.

Michelle, it is my understanding that homeopathic remedies should pretty much all be safe during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. (Not so for herbal remedies, but arnica isn’t supposed to be taken internally, anyway, except as a homeopathic.)

  • Jodi

I’m interested in many of the items in the kit, probably the remedy that interests me most is the wild weed salve. But the items I think interests me most is the instruction guide and the conditions list which would tell me how to use them!

  • Kristen B

Definitely would love to use the Arnica 30C. Lots of bumps and bruises here with a toddler! Plus hubby works as a mechanic so he could benefit from it!

  • What a fabulous giveway! I would love to have the Wild Weed Salve on hand for all the winter dry skin as well as the daily scraps and such. And it would be nice to have the Crisis Calm on “those days”.

  • Ashley

I’d love to try the wild weed salve and the crisis calm. and the arnica. well, gosh, the whole kit would be great! I have been trying to treat our family more naturally for the better part of last year. this kit would be wonderful to have around. thanks for doing this giveaway :)

  • Rebekah

  • Lindsey

I would like to try the crisis calm for my daughter who does not handle bumps and scrapes well at all, the calendula succus for my baby with terrible diaper rash, and the wild weed salve for all my kids who get dry patches this time of year.

I’d like to try the Cantharis remedy for burns and sunburns, since I always get at least 1 sunburn during the summer (usually more!).

Let’s see…what would I like to try most? I’ve used calendula as part of a diaper rash/thrush treatment in the past, so more would be nice. The Arnica 30 would be fun to try. I’m a runner, and it would be nice to have a soothing post-workout rub. In fact, my hubby could use it too after he cut our fireword.

  • Genevieve

I would love to try the Calendula Succus. My husband is a pipe fitter and his hands are always burnt and cracking so I think that it would really be good for him.

  • Liz

Honestly, all of the components of their first aid kit are interesting to me. I love learning about new herbs, etc. and their uses. Probably the most interesting is the activated charcoal since my kids are very prone to stomach upsets.

  • Julie C

Another vote for Calendula Succus being the mother to 7 kids.

I would like to try Crisis Calm and the Calendula Succus. These sound like great additions to the few homeopathic remedies I already have at home.
    The whole kit sounds fantastic!

  • Suzanne

I would like to try the Crisis Calm and the Arnica 30. Actually, I’d like to try it all. I’ve just started trying to go more natural in every way, clean eating, etc. and had no idea there were natural herbal remedies like these. The idea of the basic first aid kit with full instructions is VERY appealing for a newbie like me.

  • Kassia

I would most like to try the Wild Weed Salve as a couple of my kids have very sensitive skin, as do I.

  • Sandra Bonagura

I am new and do not yet have natural remedies – I would like to try the Wild Weed Salve and the Arnica for my 5 active grandbabies. Also would like to teach both my daughters all about these treatments. Thank you!!

  • Marla Tognoli

Love the idea of being able to win something that is so practical and natural. I find that natural remedies are so much better than modern medications. I would love to win this first aid kit.

  • Jenn

I would like to try arnica gel or activated charcoal. This is a great giveaway and I am a beginner so this would be a nice start. =) Thanks Frugal Granola for hosting another great giveaway!

  • Tangee Stevens

I love the idea of having natural remedies for day to day boo-boos. The Crisis Calm sounds fabulous. The whole first aid kit also sounds great since we are a frugal family and spend most of our free time together outdoors hiking, biking and camping. Thanks for the offer and opportunity.

  • I’m newer to natural remedies so I’m learning a lot just by reading through NaturoKits website!

I’m most interested in the Activated Charcoal that helps with stomach issues as my husband has an easily irritated stomach.
And I’m interested in Calendula Succus because I have 4 children 4 and under and there’s lots of cuts and scrapes in our house, lol.

  • I noticed there are a couple others here named Bethany – so you can just call me RutabagaGirl. I am very interested in everything, especially the wild weed salve and the activated charcoal. And the aloe vera gel – my poor plants won’t live much longer if I keep cutting myself!

  • I am interested in everything natural. I’m really wanting to learn to use natural remedies instead of conventional meds.

  • JudyH

I am interested in natural remedies instead of conventional treatments. This would be awesome!

I would like to try the Calendula Succus.

With a family of 6, someone is always complaining about something ailing them. I am most interested in the Activated Charcoal and the Crisis Calm. I’ve been wanting to transition to natural remedies for quite awhile now.

  • Alicia

I am interested in all of it…esp the activated charcoal. Thanks for the chance to win!

  • Jo

Do I have to limit my interest to just one….I guess the wild weed for diaper rash since I have 4 grands in diapers.

  • brittany barrett

yes please! i would like to win the whole kit and your e-book, actually i would love to win and read all your e-books!!
    thank you!!!

  • Jeana

We just had our house broken into over the holidays, so I’m very intrigued by the Crisis Calm product! I also love arnica, but have only used it in cream form so far. What a great idea to put all these things together in a little kit!

  • I have never tried arnica before, even though I have heard great things about it. I would like to try it for my rough and tumble boys.

I’d like to try them all:) The Apis 30C would be great to have on hand- I always seem to get stung by something!

  • Marissa

That all sounds amazing, particularly the Crisis Calm and the Ledum. I think I would get lots of use out of all of them.

  • jen cox

Apis 30C would be beneficial for us because my 4 yr old and I are both allergic to insect bites and stings.

  • Megan P.

One of the many things that interested me is the activated charcoal and Arnica 30C. However, all of the items sound great!

  • I was so excited to see this giveaway!! I grew up using natural remedies like Charcoal and calandula and arnica creams, and having so many things in one place would be perfect.

  • Cassiopia n.

I would like to try arnica.good luck everyone:)
