Menu Plan {9.19-25}

I’ve been busy putting garden produce into the freezer this week (and still have a box of nectarines waiting to be canned). With a nice bit of fall weather this weekend, I baked up a pear pie (one of our favorites!), along with an orange gingerbread for guests.

I added more quilts to the beds, and we’re all eyeing the new stack of library books awaiting us on the table. The little ones are thrilled to wear their raincoats & boots again, rejoicing in running amid raindrops and puddles. Now that I’m in my 2nd trimester of pregnancy, most of the nausea is past, and I’m focusing on adding plenty of protein at mealtimes.
