With the rainy fall weather lately, we’ve been doing a bit more reading, starting a little of my “nesting projects,” and enjoying autumn crockpot meals! During a visit to Grandma’s, the children had fun harvesting carrots, munching on just-picked apples, and bringing home a small pumpkin from the garden.
Meanwhile, here are some of my favorite links of the week:

- Healthy Homemade Chocolate Butter Fudge @ Divine Health… I’ve been thinking ahead to Christmas fudge, and this looks like a great alternative!

- 5 Quick Sentences that Teach Christ to Kids (and to Us as Well) @ Burning Bushes… Similar points to learning the catechism; well said.
{Family}
- {Adoption is} Insane @ Yes, My Couch is Ugly… So beautifully, wonderfully true.

{Life}
- How I Healed My Child’s Cavity @ The Healthy Home Economist… Some good, natural dental advice.
{Home}
- DIY Dryer Balls @ Green Eyed Monster… A simple tutorial; perfect if you’ve been wanting to add dryer balls to your natural laundry routine.
{Crafts}
- Baking Soda Clay @ The {NewNew} Blog… I’m excited to try this with our little ones, after I restock the baking soda!
{Bookshelf}
- Playful Learning: Develop Your Child’s Sense of Wonder & Joy… Some good ideas for encouraging creativity in the daily rhythms of home.
- Choosing Waterbirth: Reclaiming the Sacred Power of Birth… I enjoyed reading the inspiring birth stories.
- Sewing For Boys: 24 Projects to Create a Handmade Wardrobe… Also has fun projects for toys & gifts, plus tips on sewing for children with special sensory needs.

{Window Shopping}

I hope you have a lovely weekend!
